Plot: The McKaye family has lived in the mountain resort town of Whistler for a long time and owns a local tavern. Father Ethan was a world-class snowboarder in his youth. The eldest son, Beck McKaye, is a master snowboarder, but the younger son, Quinn McKaye, although he loves his brother, lives in Beck's shadow and is often ignored. Beck won the gold medal in the 2006 Olympics but was found dead at the bottom of the ski slopes in Whistler two weeks later. The McKaye family believes that, contrary to the coroner's report, Beck was murdered. Quinn devotes his energy to finding out why Beck was killed and who killed him.
