Plot: After alien intelligence infiltrated England in 1879, Queen Victoria decided to establish the Torchwood Group. There's a huge treasure of extraterrestrial goods and aliens coming out of the Rift, deep beneath Cardiff Bay. The first line of defense against extraterrestrial invasion on Earth for a century has been the Torchwood Team. The members of Torchwood grew up in successive generations.
