Plot: As a senior government crisis management consultant at the Blackwood Institute, Dr. Molly Caffrey creates strategies for calamities ranging from natural disasters to nuclear war. She made a strategy code named "Threshold" to address the potential of first contact with aliens to "cover all bases." A contact with a UFO occurred one night while on a U.S. Navy ship. Though some of the crew managed to escape, many unfortunately died. Following a crew member's death on board that was captured on camera, the Threshold Protocol was triggered.
