Plot: David Haller has spent a large portion of his life in and out of mental facilities after receiving a split personality and schizophrenia diagnosis at a young age. In actuality, though, his dual personality serves as his superpower; each of his personas has a certain talent or quality. He battled this mutant superpower up until he found Syd, his ideal woman, and made the decision to embrace his true nature. David finds himself being chased by both a nonprofit group that wants to assist him in understanding and using his skills and a clandestine government entity that wants to weaponize him as he starts to become aware of his own and those around him.
