Plot: An evil solar eclipse approaching the start of the new century threatens to destroy contemporary civilization. Maybe it is destiny that certain individuals have been bestowed with unique skills and tasks. Although they all appear ordinary, each has a special superpower. Examples of these include young professor Mohand of human development; Claire, a high school cheerleader; genius cartoonist Isaac; Peter, a male nurse in hospice care; regular Japanese employee Hiro Nakamura, who relies on stripping for his son to study single mother Nikki and others for their own special and unusual, troublesome, and assigned to carry out historically significant tasks.
