Plot: Will Schuester aims to bring the school's failing glee club, New Directions, back to life when he takes over as director. Schuester teaches Spanish at high school. A distinct yet gifted set of kids was drawn to him. The enthusiastic and aspirational pupils had to deal with the hard reality of McKinley High School in addition to competing for a national title.
