Plot: Mark Sloan is the community head of staff at General Hospital. Mark's father is a Los Angeles police investigator, so even though his work as a doctor keeps him busy, he still finds time to assist the police in solving murder cases. Along with his son Steve (who replaced Mark's father), he receives assistance from young physicians Amanda Bentley and Jesse Travis. They collaborated to solve some of the most challenging crimes in Los Angeles.
