Plot: The dark comedy Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, was written by Martin McDonagh. The fact that the person who killed her daughter has not been apprehended infuriates Mildred Hayes. She writes a message for Chief Willoughby, the head of the police department, on three placards. Dixon is a Willoughby police officer who uses violence. He attempts to halt Mildred.
