Plot: Duncan imitates his deceased mother because he can't fully let her go. He wears her fur coat to bed and speaks in her voice at the dinner table. The aloof sixty-year-old father of Duncan, Edgar, cannot comprehend the peculiar ways in which his son is grieving. Duncan is a regular person, so why can't he suffer like one? Perry Foley, their macho buddy who endures far more hardships on his father's farm, tends to console Duncan and justify his "wimpiness" to their brazenly violent friends, Travis, Scotty, and Brent.
