Plot: Paul worked at a prep school called Deerfield Academy and wasn't well-liked by the students. Angus, a 15-year-old troublemaker who was often on the verge of expulsion, needed to be watched over by Paul during the 1970 Christmas holiday since he had no family and nowhere else to go. Head chef Mary, whose own son recently vanished in Vietnam, is left behind with Paul and Angus. For two winter weeks in New England, these three very different losers become a bizarre Christmas family, sharing humorous escapades and coming to the realization that none of them are grateful for their history.
