Plot: The grumpy, hairy green creature known as Grinch is the sole person in Whoville who despises Christmas since he is an orphan. He resides in a cave north of Warville, near the summit of the Cromppete Mountains. Max, Grinch's devoted pet dog, is his sole buddy. Cindy Lou, then six years old, decides to write a letter to Santa to help her mother, Donna, who is overburdened with raising her and her twin brother. However, after meeting Glitch, who mockingly tells her that she needs to have a face-to-face conversation with Santa about it, Cindy Lou changes her mind and attempts to set up a trap to catch Santa.
