Plot: Fran, a stunning single mother, and her 12-year-old daughter relocate to the US in quest of a better life. Fran was brought in as a housekeeper for a respectable family by a friend. And the largest obstacle in Fran's path to a new life was her cultural background. Another major trauma to Fran's brain was the contrast in lifestyle and parenting styles between her and the owners, John and Deborah. Fran still faces certain challenges in her quest to assimilate into American high society completely. The cultural confrontation is subtly presented under a veil of emotional sentiments.
