Plot: TC Williams High School was created by closing and combining a white high school with a black high school. In a very racist environment, a black coach was named head football coach, and conflicts emerged when players of different races were made to play on the same football team. Players gain mutual esteem and support by facing obstacles and opposition. They achieve on the field, overcome discrimination, and become a cohesive team with perseverance and hard effort.
