Plot: Grenouille is a guy without a unique aroma yet with an amazing sense of smell. He kills young ladies to retain their essence because he becomes fascinated with collecting their scent. He studies the craft of creating perfumes while working as a perfumer. He looks for the perfect smell—the perfume he detected on the girl who became his first victim. His goal is to manufacture a scent that would make him powerful and alluring. He murders several people and is held accountable for his deeds.

Plot: Due to his wife's and her lover's murders in 1947, young banker Andy is sentenced to life in prison.
