Plot: As the three planets align in the sky, Lara Croft finds a mysterious clock in a chest that her father, Count Kew, brought back from excavating an ancient tomb twenty years ago. Years ago, her father had told her about a mysterious organization called the Illuminati, who had been searching for an ancient clock that they believed was the key to time and space, a mysterious triangular object made of crystalline meteorite metal that had been used to destroy all their enemies five thousand years ago. The triangle is divided into two halves, and by uniting the two halves into one, the Illuminati patriarch will be reborn, and the future of humanity will be forever changed.

Plot: Ripley became aware that she had fallen asleep for fifty-seven years when she opened her eyes. Humans have moved to the alien world in the meantime. Ripley informs the authorities about the extraterrestrial as soon as she finds out, but she is believed to be either crazy or a liar. Ripley decided to stay out of any involvement with aliens after realizing that the authorities were not paying attention to her. As predicted, the colonists on the alien's planet abruptly lost communication with Earth. At that point, the authorities became aware of Ripley's story and decided to dispatch the troops to save her.
