Plot: Teen Tracy and her buddy Penny are huge fans of the Corny Collins Show, and they both ogle Link Larkin. Amber and Velma Von Tussle are angry when Tracy gets a position at the open tryouts. Observing injustice on "Negro Day," Tracy joins forces with Penny, Seaweed, Link, and other people to integrate the program. Despite obstacles, they band together to shatter boundaries and fight for inclusion and equality—all without destroying Tracy's hairdo.
