Plot: Paul Matthews is an unremarkable professor of evolutionary biology. One day, he suddenly appears in the dreams of his students, his daughter, and people he doesn't know. Paul also appears in the dreams of his journalist ex-girlfriend Claire. With Paul's permission, Claire writes about the incident. Soon, people all over the world say they have dreamed of Paul, but in their recurring hallucinations of anxiety or fear, they seek help from Paul, but Paul does nothing. Paul feels frustrated by his inaction and wants to change the situation.
