Plot: King Acrisius of Argos rebelled against the harsh tyranny of the Olympian gods because he could take no more. At the behest of the underworld deity, Hades, Zeus resolved to punish naive people. Zeus and the queen of Acris were the parents of Perseus, a youthful demigod shipwrecked and left stranded in Argos. He witnessed the terrible punishment brought by Hades and the pain that filled the world. He also heard that unless Acris sacrificed the beautiful princess Andromeda to the gods, Hades would release the North Sea monster to punish the world. After learning about his life experience and goals from the goddess Io, Perseus decided to go after the North Sea monster and foil Hades' plot.

Plot: The Nazi war raged over the world in the 1940s.
