Plot: The Eamons family lives around their evangelical beliefs. Marshall is a Baptist pastor, and his only child, 19-year-old Jared, is a freshman at a Christian university. However, the 19-year-old son came out to his parents one day. Unable to accept it, Marshall and his wife Nancy sent Jared to a conversion therapy assessment camp directed by Victor Sykes. This church-supported gay correction program aims to "cure" homosexuality. Otherwise, it will cause the loss of relatives, friends, and religious beliefs. He initially participated in the cruel treatment of the 12 steps but eventually mustered up the courage to escape and chose to embrace his true self.
