Plot: 12-year-old genius Artemis lives with his father, Artemis Sr., at the Fowl Manor. One day, his father disappears on a ship for no apparent reason and is accused of stealing several priceless artifacts found on the boat. Artemis receives a call from a stranger who tells him he has imprisoned his father. He is given three days to recover the treasures that his father stole and hid. Artemis' bodyguard shows him a hidden library where evidence of the existence of magical creatures is recorded. He must use the power of magic to recover the lost treasures and clear his father's name.
