Plot: Everyone is apprehensive when an unexpected guest shows up for the dinner party, which Arthur's daughter Sheila successfully proposes to. Come claim the police inspector came for evidence related to a female suicide case; the impoverished Eva used to work for Arthur in the plant, but Arthur sacked her due to the strike. As time passes, it becomes evident that everyone in this little room is a sinner, whether on purpose or not, and Arthur doesn't believe he is to blame for Eva's death.
