Plot: Professor of creative writing John Chambers confronts his enraged wife, Jessica, upon returning home. She learns about her husband's continued liaison with Vivienne Ballard, his pupil. Jessica presents John with images to support her claims as he attempts to defend himself. For the benefit of their adolescent daughter, Anna, Jessica wishes to give John another opportunity despite his infidelity. She suggests taking the family on a vacation to a home on a bayou close to Louisiana Bay because she wants to rescue the family.
